About Us

The Advanced Centre for Information Technology (ACIT) was introduced in 2013 by Department of Computer Science with a primary objective of automating the services of the various departments / sections of the University in order to have a more efficient, transparent & technology driven system which would benefit all of its stake holders including students, staff & the University itself.
In 2018 the center has been converted into Directorate of Information Technology and Support Services (DIT&SS).
The initiative of establishing DIT & SS. is to act like a partner, providing widespread information support system, technology driven academic & administrative effectiveness and assistance in decision making with the aim to realize the strategic goals of the Islamic University of Science and Technology.
