It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Directorate of Information Technology & Support Services (DIT&SS), Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST). In the contemporary times when the field of Information Technology is touching new horizons and has revolutionized almost every walk of life, majority of organizations are fast adapting same for effective & efficient management of their business endeavors and to facilitate better decision making. In order to harness the tremendous potential of Information Technology for effective governance and to provide state of the art computing & communication facilities to various stakeholders, Islamic University of Science & Technology established Directorate of Information Technology & Support Services (DIT&SS).
The initiative of establishing Directorate of Information Technology and Support Services (DIT & SS) at Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST) is to facilitate widespread information support system, technology driven institute governance system for achieving academic & administrative effectiveness to realize the strategic goals of the Islamic University of Science and Technology. Since its establishment DIT&SS is actively involved in the development of various automatic solutions, which are used by the University to strengthen the teaching/learning process & to administer a transparent and efficient university governance. The DIT&SS has immensely contributed by providing various efficient & effective IT services to University community and is committed to work proactively in order to meet the future challenges.
