Our vision is to provide the university with cutting-edge digital resources for academics, research, and administration, ensuring reliability and sustainability through Green Computing Technology. To achieve this, our mission is to continuously innovate, adapt, and implement modern ICT solutions that enhance the academic and administrative experience at IUST.
Our advanced ERP system integrates essential functions such as admissions, academics, teaching departments/centres, examinations, student services, grievance redressal, finance, budgeting, research, recruitment, transport, hostel, and file tracking. Serving as the backbone of our institutional operations, it ensures transparency and grants stakeholders real-time access to vital information.
We also offer robust network support services, including high-speed internet with up to 1Gbps connectivity and a 100 Mbps backup leased line for seamless access. The Campus Area Network (CAN) connects 1,300 nodes through fiber optic and Wi-Fi technologies, facilitating smooth communication and data exchange. Additionally, our Advanced Unified Threat Management System (SOPHOS XG650) provides comprehensive cybersecurity, safeguarding our digital assets and sensitive information.
