The Centre envisions fostering meaningful responses to the spiritual and moral crises of postmodern humanity through dialogue, peacebuilding, and integrative education. It seeks to develop a model of higher learning in which spiritual and ethical values are embedded within the university curriculum to promote holistic human development and global harmony.

The Centre is dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary research and academic inquiry into the diverse expressions of spirituality found in the world’s religious traditions. It aims to offer spiritual perspectives on contemporary ideological, cultural, and intellectual challenges while contributing to the global discourse on peace and coexistence. With a special focus on the spiritual heritage of Kashmir, ICSS engages in comparative studies of religion and mysticism to bridge local traditions with global conversations on spirituality, ethics, and sustainable human flourishing.
