The Directorate of Physical Education & Sports is established in 2009 with an avowed objective of promoting sports culture among the youth for all-round development of the personality. The Directorate has participated in scores of Inter- University Tournaments in various sports at Zonal, State and National Level. The Directorate is regularly conducting various inter-departmental tournaments. Besides regular sports, the Directorate has setup an adventure sports- unit which undertakes sports like Snow Skiing, Mountaineering, and Trekking etc. Training and coaching camps like Self Defense, Martial Arts, and Yoga etc. are conducted regularly for the student’s perusing different academic courses at the Campus. The University has International Standard Synthetic Athletic Track situated at the bottom of Vastoor Vann Mountains. The university has number of Cricket, Hockey, Football, Volleyball, and Basketball courts/fields within the main campus. The Health club/Gym has been set up with latest and sophisticated machinery pertaining to cardio and weight-training to the students and employees of the university.
