| To prepare the students for the entry into Ph.D. programs, academics and carriers in various IITs, IISSERs, and R&D laboratories.
Provide laboratories which are equipped with modern instrumentation like FTIR, UV Spectroscopy, Spectro-fluorometry, TGA, Rheometry etc which will be used regularly by faculty and students.
Act as mentors to postgraduates advising them in developing scientific aptitude for cutting edge research and in scripting projects and research proposals relevant to current societal needs.
Teach students the value of cross-disciplinary thinking by providing them with educational and research opportunities between chemistry and other fields of study.
