Introduction |
| M.A. Arabic Language and Literature is an interactive and Interdisciplinary course offered to the students under the guidelines of UGC. The department has devised its course of Study/Syllabi under the CBCS scheme. Students will delve into courses that sharpen their language skills as well as those that deal with variations in the literature. Some of the subjects currently being taught in the Masters programme are history of Arabic Literature, Classical Poetry and Prose, Syntax and Morphology, Translation, Modern Arabic Poetry, Novel, Drama, Short Story, Rhetoric and Prosody, Literary Criticism and Research Methodology.

Eligibility |
| A candidate having a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with Arabic as one of the subjects with 45% marks from a recognized University/Institution OR having Aalimayat/ Fazilah degree with 10+2 of the approved Madrasas. |
