Introduction
	The M.A program offers courses relating to Political Science with special emphasis on international relations. Introduction of the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) has further enhanced the interdisciplinary learning of students.Apart from catering to core subjects of political science, the program extensively focuses on different aspects of international relations. Areas of study include theoretical approach to international relations, politics in South Asia, international organizations, peace and conflict studies, diplomacy, international law, environmental security, international political economy, foreign policy etc.

Eligibility
	A candidate with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institution with Political Science as one of the subjects throughout the graduation period is eligible to apply

	In addition to the prospects available in academia, the skill and knowledge acquired by students at the CIR equip them to pursue careers in a wide range of fields, more specifically international organizations, international non-governmental organizations, local non–governmental organizations, think tanks and the public sector.
