Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering. Since its establishment in 2009, the Department has remained committed to academic excellence, innovation, and societal development. With the introduction of the Ph.D. programme in 2019 and the B.Tech. (Working Professional) Programme in 2023, we have expanded our academic horizon to cater to both aspiring engineers and industry professionals. Civil Engineering plays a pivotal role in nation-building. Our curriculum, aligned with AICTE guidelines and implemented under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), integrates strong theoretical foundations with practical exposure. Modern laboratories, advanced modelling and design software, field visits, and industry interactions ensure that our students are well-prepared to meet contemporary challenges. The Department actively promotes research, consultancy, and interdisciplinary collaborations, contributing to sustainable infrastructure and technological advancement.
