We are a group of internationally recognized research scientists, Ph.D. scholars, and dedicated professional staff to advance our scientific, educational, and service goals. All our faculty members have excellent academic credentials, having been educated and trained in cutting-edge research at reputed Indian and International institutes/universities. The Centre is dedicated to educating the next generation of scientists in the field of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Bioinformatics. Our research interests include basic and clinical translation of the diseases, including but not limited to cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and aging. Apart from generous in-house funding, the Centre has been successful in receiving extramural funding from agencies such as the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), and Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, which has helped us to set up modern facilities and kick-start our research projects.
