It is the language that imbued a literary culture in the Arab world and continues to attract scholars, Writers, Poets, Historians, Calligraphers, computer programmers, and men of letters from all walks of life. The Department of Arabic Language and Literature is one of the pioneer departments of the university .It aims at producing scholars who are competent to cater to existing and emerging needs in the field of Arabic Language and Literature .There are tremendous employment opportunities in this field within and outside the country
