About Us

The Department of Civil Engineering, established in 2009, offers a four-year B.Tech. programme and Ph.D. research since 2019. Since 2023, the Department has also introduced a B.Tech. (Working Professional) Programme to cater to industry professionals seeking academic advancement. The Department provides high-quality technical education aligned with AICTE guidelines under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). Emphasis is laid on core civil engineering fundamentals, modern laboratory practices, advanced software for modelling and design, and field exposure through project site visits. Active research, consultancy assignments, and funded projects strengthen the Department’s academic ecosystem.
