With the changing Socio-economic Environment, the Technical, Skill and Vocational Education has assumed greater significance. The human resource requirements of various Industries and user organizations demand technically skilled manpower from the Technical and Skill Institutions. Apart from this the Entrepreneur, education clubbed with the Technical skills has assumed a greater significance and relevance to the present day environment.
Our Polytechnic has a significant role in producing and providing technically trained human resource to the user organizations and society at large. Govt. Polytechnic College 7Pulwama-IUST is trying its best to provide such human resource to the society at large.
With the Introduction of NEP-2020 in offing the Institution is preparing itself to implement this policy in most effective manner. The institution has already initiated Mentor based education system which is a part of NEP-2022 and is showing effective results.
The Institution shall act as main hub for providing skill and Vocational courses which has been given a greater significance in NEP-2022.
I would like to request all the stake holders especially the students to work hard and acquire knowledge and skill so that they can be relevant to the society at large.
