About Us

Educational institutions are meant to be spaces that nurture creativity and where ideas are allowed to blossom. However, our educational institutions rarely provide space and avenues for artistic expression or a medium for appreciating art and artistic endeavors. It is with this lacunae in mind that IUST established Wastoorwan Gallery of Art in May 2022 as a physical space where creativity can find an idiom beyond spoken and written language. Within a short span of time the Gallery has hosted several well-regarded exhibitions and will continue to arrange exhibitions, talks, student competitions and other events centered around artistic expression.
