About Us

The department of physics was established in the year 2015 with an objective to primarily impart post-graduation degree in physics. The objective was to develop research-oriented minds through teaching of highest caliber and rigorous training in both experimental as well as theoretical physics. To make learning of physics, a fundamental science, interesting and exciting, we envision a high standard of teaching driven by curiosity and creativity. We are also focussed to develop the key infrastructure for quality research at the department. To demonstrate the importance of physics in zeitgeist research and to inculcate a problem-solving approach in students, regular tutorials have been incorporated into the teaching where problems of research interest are also discussed along with the routine problems of academic interest.
