The Center for Career Counseling and Placements (3CP) is an integral part of the University, providing students with a platform to explore and achieve their career objectives. Established in April 2022, 3CP@IUST is overseen by the Placement Team, which includes an executive committee comprising five faculty members from various university schools and a Placement Officer 3CP@IUST is further strengthened by the Departmental Placement and Internship Coordinator (DPIC) for each department or centre. 3CP@IUST operates using the Campus Recruitment Coordinators (CRCs) who play a pivotal role in achieving the objectives of the centre 3CP focuses on three primary stakeholders in the placement process: students, companies, and the university itself. It follows a well-defined process to cultivate strong partnerships with diverse companies, acting as a link between students seeking employment and potential employers. The center also assists students in charting their career paths by offering valuable insights into different industries. It maintains an extensive database of job openings across leading public and private sector organizations, regularly updating this information on the University's website for the benefit of both current students and alumni.
