The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora, is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, well-facilitated, supportive and nurturing environment for its female students - a true home away from home. The university currently operates four dedicated girls hostels: Jhelum, Indus, H3, and Sadr-e-Mouj. Each hostel is designed to promote academic focus, personal well-being, and community living, while ensuring the comfort and security of its borders. Each hostel has been designed to offer a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment that supports both academic pursuits and overall well-being. The rooms are spacious, properly ventilated, and adequately furnished with essential amenities including a study table, chair, bed, and steel almirah. Accommodation typically follows a triple-seater format, though twin-sharing rooms are also available in limited numbers. Additional conveniences include access to clean drinking water, refrigerators, water coolers, and geysers. Each hostel operates a mess facility that provides nutritious and affordable meals, helping students manage their dietary needs economically. To ensure minimal disruption during power outages, inverters and standby generators are in place, thereby providing uninterrupted electricity supply. Through these well-maintained and thoughtfully administered hostel facilities, IUST remains committed to offering its students a holistic and enriching campus life experience
